As the company founder Peter started Invotech in 1999 by developing and coding the software in a back bedroom of his house! In the early days he managed every business function from development to accounts and sales. Previous roles as a software developer in Opsis, as a property developer and in accountancy helped greatly providing Peter with a wide skill set to allow him achieve success at every aspect of this new business. Today Peter steers the company towards ongoing profitability and innovation. A laissez-faire manager Peter keeps the team motivated and promotes autonomy.
In his spare time Peter enjoys sailing, yoga and travelling to new destinations with his family. He is a bit of a nerd with a love of all things sci-fi and techie. He loves taking things apart to see how they work… and sometimes he even puts them back together again.
Orla has 20 plus years experience in the IT Industry having worked with an international student travel company, a financial PR group in the city of London & KPMG. We were fortunate to gain her expertise after she returned home to Ireland following an international career in London and Boston. As Office Manager, Orla heads up the support team and keeps us all in check on a daily basis!
Also a fan of the outdoors she lives by the sea and enjoys swimming and running. She loves movies, reading and foreign travel but these all take second place to her husband and a silly dog called Oreo.
Gerry brings to Invotech over 30 years of experience in the software development industry having previous roles in Opsis, Kindle Banking Systems and Revenue. He then shared his skills with multiple companies carrying out freelance contract work before joining Invotech as a company Director in 2003. Gerry's management motto is "delegate and trust" and he complements Peter's style by further stimulating innovation in an open and positive environment for all of the team.
A dub living in Kildare, Gerry hobbies include walking, yoga, reading and creative writing. His positive and optimistic personality is best summed up by the team he supports – Liverpool Football Club.
With vast experience from across multiple corporations including Chubb, Aideen brings to the team a wealth of financial management knowledge. As our Accounts Manager she looks after invoicing, cash flow and payroll to name but a few.
Her passion is her family with 2 children and a cat. When she has a spare moment outside of family and work she enjoys hill walking and foreign travel. Our favourite of her hobbies however is her cooking as she keeps the office stocked with cakes and treats on a weekly basis.
