What is GDPR?
GDPR is the General Data Protection Regulation. It will come into effect on the 25th of May 2018. GDPR is a revision and replacement of our current data protection legislation. It replaces all existing data protection legislation under EU data protection directive.
GDPR increases your responsibilities in how you collect, utilise, store and protect data. All organisations and companies must achieve compliance.
Does it affect Invotech Software?
GDPR affects all organisations including Invotech. In order to be fully compliant, a software update is required for your current Invotech software. We will be deploying the update in plenty of time with minimal disruption.
Will my Invotech software change?
The software will change in order to comply with GDPR legislation. It will not appear too different, retaining all the same functionality as before but there will be some extra options available in line with GDPR recommendations.
Where are the workshops?
Our workshops will be held nationwide to allow as many people to attend as possible.
